Hi,
I got conflicting answers for this questions so I thought it would be best to post my question here.
This is the scenario
Company A
I am filing green card with this company based on **FUTURE EMPLOYMENT**
LABOUR APPROVED,I-140 PENDING,PRIORITY DATE : JAN 2009
Company B (Present Employer)
Labor Approved (Priority date : Aug 2009)
Now the question is Can I NOW file 140 with company B before my company A I-140 gets approved...?
In this case will I be able to use my Jan2009 priority date after my pending company-A I-140 gets approved..??
Note: I wanted to file 485 ONLY WITH COMPANY B
Again to summarize, Before my 1st 140 (Company A) gets approved can i apply for 2nd 140 (from company B)and still use 1st company's priority date when filing for 485 with 2nd company (Company B)

In a time when the country is facing a $1.5 trillion deficit and the antis are calling for massive increases in spending on immigration enforcement, it's nice to see someone calling out the immigration prosecutors for what is a huge waste of taxpayer dollars. From the Austin American-Statesman: In an order filed Friday, a federal judge in Austin questioned U.S. prosecutors for seeking criminal convictions in court against some illegal immigrants, writing that the practice "presents a cost to the American taxpayer ... that is neither meritorious nor reasonable." The order by U.S. District Judge Sam Sparks comes as his...

Hello everyone,
I have been following this forum for quite sometime now. I have an issue and need some advice on that. My husband is on EAD and i am H1. I was with company A for a almost 2 yrs and then I joined company B for a project. They applied for my h1 that came through pretty fast through premium process. the project that I was supposed to start on kind of got scrapped and no dates yet known when that would happen. Now my question is that can i go back to company A as they have a project for me and want me to join them again, if i do that compant B will cancel my H1.Please advice if there are any legal issues that might pertain on this kind of case.
thanks

Can I use a personal check for I 485 application? Is it the preferred way?
Thanks,
Sony

but as far as the AD is concerned, an AD is for a position not for a person, if 1 AD satisfy the skill set and available position then one AD can work for multiple positions.

Hi,
I am working with a consulting company and my company filed for my GC in 2009 (PD is 25-Feb-2009). I received my I-140 approval on 28-Feb-2010. Now the client where I am working, has offered my a fulltime job and GC processing. I have received mutual consent from my current company for any legal issues. Now, if I join the new company and file my GC from there, can I port my Priority date for the new processing? Also, what should be the earliest joining date? What all other precautions should I take while filing GC with the new company?
I received the offer on 07/09 and have to give my decision by 07/15. I would appreciate if anyone can help.
Thanks a lot,
CAH

perhaps the slow commenting is due to the quality of the picture. Looks great, nice frame, nice composition. It'd perhaps saturate it more and enhance the sun....
