I hired a CPA to register a LLC, but he insisted to open S-Corp. I was not confident so I told him to holdoff. Opening S-Copr doesn't seem to be right on EAD, however, I am still going thru posts tof igure right answer.
Has anyone taken any lawyer opinion on this?
I know vparam has done it. but has anyone else gone through same procedure..

I'm just waiting for them to start working on the 2002 cases now, since everyone who applied later already got their greencards it seems. :(
I think it is sooo unfair that someone who applied in 2005 already got a green card and taking the visa numbers when others have waited 3 or 4 more years(!) extra have to wait even longer. That is something for IV to fight for...

1) Pardon me for being a fence sitter till now.......I did take part in flower campaign etc..but I don't know what happened to me after that...I just stoped caring about this whole GC thing, even though I have filed 485 etc...I know it's gonna take a long long time to get it....but enough of depressing thoughts...nothing can be achieved being depressed...so here I go...

SO IF they move PD's to 2006 dec then there is aposibility that all 2006 pd 's get GC's before @001 pd's.:mad:

AFAIK, this memo only applies to those I-140 petitions which do NOT require a labor certification approval. It does NOT apply to EB-2 Advanced degree holder petitions which require a certified labor and BS + 5 yrs or MS + 0 yrs of experience.
Though, for now, most of us who are filing in EB-2 Advanced degree holder category have nothing to worry, this definitely looks like a targeted approach where they are coming after everybody, one category at a time. So its just a matter of time it seems when they come up with something which targets everyone...

Thanks for the information. Bills come and go every year, hard to count how many we have seen go up in the air in the last 3 years.
We are talking about HR 5882,5921 and 6039. Very few people are working very hard to take all of us a step ahead with the GC process and we have lots of hope and we also have direction. Please check with your state chapter lead for latest updates.

ya just because u need green card, you agree with professor sahib. once u get ur green card u will also talk bad about india and indian workers.. i think gone r days when it was a cheap labor.. do u think our education systems/colleges IIT's/REC's are crap.
just because he favored GC applicant you should not agree..he straightway projected india as third world nation in eductaion, resource quality etc ..
I totally totally agree with Professor Sahib! I wish the government listens to him. What he is saying is good for everyone. As Indians we want America to succeed and prosper and we want to be a big part of the reason they prosper.

Expatsvoice has written is own draft legislation to amend the CSPA, as it is badly written, confusing to many including attorneys and Geoff Gorsky, head of VO and does not protect all children from aging out
This legislation has been passed from Dave Weldons office to his legislators in Washington, we are awaiting to hear the outcome
Also expats voice are being interviewed for a 6 week radio program on all problems relating to US immigration. will try and update here when I get any news

How insane you are, you are giving the credit of that to USCIS ??? I think you were sleping when people had rallies in CA and IV had 'flowers to USCIS' campaign, how about Zoe Lofergn's threat, I'm sure you don't know any thing. USCIS shares most of the responsibility of you and I being on this forum. USCIS was doing a tardy job and wasting several thousand green card numbers every year that's why DOS had to push them by making the world wide dates current. And 'no' they did not 'realize' any mistake, they did not want to get into legal trouble and get publically exposed(Zoe Lofergn asked for emails and all communication regarding Visa cut off dates). So they took the shortest and safest way to get out

I just had my I-140 approved few days ago. I applied concurrently during July fiasco to NSC.
My online status says: Approval Notice Sent.
I guess that means my I140 is approved.

I believe the majority ofthe IV members are from Indian origins. they should contact the Indian community that donated money to Hilary and ask why she voted against legal immigrants. she is preparing for her election compaign. I am sure she will answer or at least she will know that we are following her votes against us.

Yes, that's is correct. and they clarified (once more) that "when spill over occurs, PD of oversubscribed countries will move together".
For example, if EB2 India and China has different PDs, spillover is not occuring.
Additionally, it looks like demand in Eb1 is high enough that spill over may not be big, and so even with spill over, EB2 PD will not cross 2005. (they are saying indirectly that dont hold the hopes for big jump in the last quarter this year....)

All that extra staff they hired for July 2007 fiasco is working now and there is not much new filing. System will stay efficient until the time comes for them to handle 12 million undocumented after the CIR.
