    My Wife had her COS from H4-H1, and I filed my I-485 in July with my wife as secondary applicant and already got our EAD,AP. We are planning to Visit India this month and my wife wants to use her AP while travelling back to US.

    1. Is it advisable or are there any issues with using AP.
    2. Can she use AP that she received as a secondary applicant and continue to work on H1B with her current employer
    3. In Case her Status changes to EAD, can we reinstate her H1B at any point in time without counted against H1B Cap.

    Pl Advise.

    So, if she is not planning to work - then no need to apply for EAD

    Hello,

    I'm available for all aspects of Flash development from Flash video to ActionScript. One of the projects I'm currently working on is a virtual tour, fully updatable and dynamic.

    I also understand and have developed AfterEffects peices for web publishing purposes. So if you need Flash animation, I can do that too. My lastest work was a FLV and Flash intro peice for Enyce.

    Applying for SSN doesn't invalidates your H1..

    I received my EAD recently and shortly applied and got SSN. Its a card which allows you to work. Doesnt cancel nothing :D

    Well this came out of nowhere. Last night the Senate passed an emergency border enforcement bill that provides $600 million for increased security on the southern US border. The $600 million will come from raising fees on staffing companies. The fee will increase by $2250 for each L-1 visa application for companies that employ 50 or more workers if 50% of the workforce is on an H-1B or an L-1.     If you search the forums, you will find this has been the latest trend , I think for most folks who live and work in CA. Not sure about maintaining the receipt date, I had the same question, but I think the answer is not well known.

    Im currently in my 8th year H1 extension. I will file for my 9th year extension ( 1yr extension) and get it stamped in December. Then I will be outside the country for a year and will come back in next december'07. At that time can i file an extension and get a 3 year extension since i have been out of the country for a year ? If my labor gets approved and 140 gets approved then i know i will be able to do it but if the labor is still stuck....
